Posts: 549 Group: Co-Admin Member #59 Joined: September 2, 2006	I use Gibson Masterbuilt 10's for my acoustic, never really use it so i dont know what strings are the best..... so what are they/what do you use?? Yeah, i think i just created this thread to liven the place up.. STRINGS!!

Newbie Posts: 10 Group: Members Member #93 Joined: November 5, 2006	Right now, I have Martin Marquis 80/20 Bronze Medium (.013 - .056) on my acoustic. They sounded good at first. A very bright tone. But I definitely need to replace the strings.

Elixiers........I don't like them much for anything other than Acoustic. The only reason that I have them on the Taylor is that it just seems to respond best to them? In any other event I'd say the were over priced and feel horrible, but other's views may very well be different. The only reason I use the Martin Phosphers is simply that I get a superb deal on them when I buy in Bulk. I too prefer the D'addarios
