R.I.P Steve Irwin (died 4th Sep. 2006)
There's this really mucked-up acoustic at my school,so im gonna ask if I can have it.
It's a Montana,and I think it's an electric acoustic.
The strings are rusted and there are only three.
The tuning heads HAVE to be replaced or de-rusted.
Im sure about the bridge but i dont think it's in good condition.

I wanna try and fix this guitar up. I already have a Montana, the same one,so I know what it looks like when it's in good condition.

How much do you think it'll cost for the tuning heads and can one buy a bridge?

Decent set of tuning heads, maybe Gibsons, could be about £25. And yes, you can buy an acoustic bridge saddle. Tricky to fit, but thats a learning experience for about £20.

You can buy a brand new guitar off Ebuyer for £20.
Better doing that than messing around with an old guitar. :D

^True, but customising and rebuilding guitars is a lot of fun, and very rewarding.
