lol very very true but I initially figured strings didn't need changing until they start to fray well the school acoustics are fraying yet they havent 'earned' themselves the new strings yet

That's a shame but at least they will create good firm finger tips for the new rockers. I think there are few things in this world as satisfyingly nice as sticking some new strings in, tuning.... that first open chord, triiiinngggggg... beautiful! Well, of course there are other things... but this is a family board! |

Yeh, we had a acoustic at skool.. i picked it up started playing it felt really weird.. two seconds later my hands were jammed together as the ..glue.. yes.. normal glue.. that was holding this "fixed" guitar folded in on itsself.. my m8's found it hillarious though. |

i havent had either yet but personnaly i like the idea of electric. i think they appeal more to anyone. i know that if someon was to ever say to me "hey look at my acoustic" id be like.... hmm ok but if they said "hey i got an electric guitar" id be like oooo lemme see. But that might just be me lol.

i think that's a bit harsh, but everyone to the own opinion, i think it's down to personal preference some folk like electric, some like acoustic, at the end of the day it's what you prefer not anyone else

thats true. I think i need to go back on what i said. Because now ive looked into acoustics more i love both. Theyre just used for different music. I wouldnt worry about buying either electric or acoustic. Id buy both. Different guitars for different music.... |
