Ive been playin my epiphone les paul for a few months now with the amp that comes with the starter pack. Im lookin for a new amp in the $100 range that has good distortion, and other effects like a delay and phaser. I need some ideas about what amp to use thats around 15-20 watts or more if possible. I have been considering the 15 watt line 6 spider III so far.. thats like 100 bucks i think. thanks |

Im not one to recomend spider, That said every thing has its purpose. And for what you want i would say that probably is a good option. Will definatly be better than ur starter amp. go try one out and see if its what you want trying doesnt mean u have to buy in that shop tho

Ok then another option is always to get a decent effects pedal for now and save and buy a better amp a little later on. but its your choice, obviously. |

$100 is a pretty tiny budget, save for a bit more maybe and get a Roland Cube-30, they're great practice amps |

Try the vox Valvestronix range, not the XL ones though. Vos's sound way better than then Line 6 spider. |
