Newbie Posts: 2 Group: Members Member #7,786 Joined: May 4, 2008	Hi, I just bought the Squire Affinity Starter Pack which comes with a Frontman 15G amp. Its exactly like the package in this youtube video: http://youtube.com/watch?v=FlKLCQOVFbw Thing is, I cant seem to get the sound like he gets towards the end of the video, ive tried all sorts of combinations and I just cant get it. Please help

Newbie Posts: 17 Group: Members Member #8,619 Joined: June 19, 2008	Crank the gain, bass 8, mid 6, treble 7, neck pickup. That's just my guess, after all he does have it mic'd up and it's hard to differentiate between that sound and what you'd get in your room. Just play about with it man, you'll get there.

Top Contributor Posts: 379 Group: Members Member #8,625 Joined: June 23, 2008	just a thought but small practice amps often have sucky distortion. get a distortion pedal and run the amp clean it will sound way better and not be expensive. something like a boss ds-1 will work fine.
