Okay I've noticed for WAY TO LONG That there are just people who ask a question and ditch the acount they're on

It's called BOOKMARKING, Ctrl+D

We need consistent members not "One post wonders"

It's me and Bullet with the sometimes 20 post guy who leaves...

And I didn't get 600+ posts overnight... It takes a while, And having 20 or less posts and stopping isn't helping ANYONE! now is it?

Another Option is to have a person have 20+ posts to get the backing tracks and tabs ect. They also have to have 25 posts to ask for help..

Bullet!
Feel free to add more if you want..

ok as one of those new guys i'll throw in my 2 cents. in order for any forum to be successful there needs to be regular posting from all members. often you go to a forum and there is nothing new, after a while you just say screw it nothing new not gonna bother. fresh blood keeps the site going. if you go the you can't get into certain sections route people will be put off by that. the best way is to have interesting topics stickied at the top of each section. those FAQs are a good starting place for newbies. also for old foggies like me it can be tough to deal with kids sometimes so making sure that the forum is friendly to all is important. i'm here and will continmue to come as long as it seems worth the while.
and now for something completely different

It's more active than it used to be. We always get peaks in activity then it goes... then it will be back again. The only way to do it is for admins to stay active and regular members. I visit at least once a day and reply to every post I see.

what's the point of changing accounts after 1 question. You might as well stay on the same account and cut out the patronising rubbish of people taking you all the way through how to play guitar. If they see that you are more experienced then they will just tell you.
Love You Italia!
