Newbie Posts: 4 Group: Members Member #1,417 Joined: September 5, 2007	Well, this one, as you can see, is about palm mutes... I cant quite figure out how to play palm mutes...fast, i can play palm mutes with downstrokes.. but playin them back up is proving to be impossible... does anybody have any ideas on how i can improve this? Cheers

Retired Posts: 918 Group: Retired Member #770 Joined: July 6, 2007	I use the Heel......or Outer Edge of your hand.....that should make Up Strokes much easier.

Hippy Posts: 764 Group: Members Member #1,068 Joined: August 14, 2007	Yeh i palm mute atleast 80% of the time.. (obviously sometimes very lighlty, more to dampen the strings. but it is a vital skill to master i belive ^^
