Rack effects help; Need some extra juice for solos

Hi,

I play guitar in a heavy metal band and i recently bought a 5150, which i love for rhythm stuff. For the more "epic" solos though, I wish i had a bit of reverb and delay. I want to put those effects in the FX loop of my amp, and a rack based solution seems like the best plan of action.

Has anyone got any recommendations for some gear i could use? I don't need 500 different choruses and modulation effects, and i don't want to break the bank as effects really aren't part of my main sound.

I've seen the G Sharp by TC electronic which seems like a good piece of gear, but i've never played one so i might be wrong!

Any information you have is appreciated, thanks!

tc electronics makes great stuff so it probably would make a good choice. you may also be able to run an effects pedal thru the loop as well. if all your looking for is basic reverb and delay then an inexpensive multi-fx unit would do just fine.
and now for something completely different
