Hi all, I am selling my H&K Triamp if anyone is interested check the ebay listing or PM me...here is the ebay blurb... Hughes & Kettner Triamp (Mk1) This amp is in great condition as it has seen very little studio use and has never been gigged (Used no more than 5 times in the studio and a few times indoors). I bought this myself about 6 months ago for a covers band that I was planning to join that folded, I have little use now for an amp so versatile which is why this is now for sale. I bought this amp second hand, however the guy I bought it off only ever used it in his home, as such it has very few signs of use other than a couple of small scuffs on the pots and the handle (caused by me), none of these affect the sound in any way. I had this serviced about 2 months ago and some of the valves were replaced, I am confident that you will be hard pushed to find a triamp mk 1 in this condition. I am also selling this with the pedal. This amp is effectively 3 completely separate amps that each have their own individual sound and feel each amp has 2 Chanels: Amp 1 is clean/bluesy, Amp 2 is bluesy/rocky Amp 3 is rock/metal. Each amps eq controls, wiring and valves are completely independent for each amp as such this amp is perfect for anyone who plays covers or requires a large range of different sounds at the flick of a switch. there is also an effects loop that can be switched on and off via the foot pedal. This amp also has reverb, master volume (so no need for an accentuator for playing at med-low volumes) and a bright switch for boosting the mids-highs if it is needed. The Tri amp is Midi compatible (to be honest I dont know what this is...so I cant comment...if anyone reads this and can enlighten me I will appreciate it :)) Before I bought this I did a lot of research into the difference between the Mk 1 and Mk 2 heads and I couldnt find that there were that many differences (except for the amp getting a facelift, and the reverb pot is in a different place on the new models). As you know the Mk 2 is around £2000, so get yourself a bargain. PAYMENT - I have stated that I accept paypal, however could you please only use this as a last resort, I would much prefer cash on exchange, cheque or bankers draft. DELIVERY - I will not post this for 2 reasons 1. I have seen and heard how courier companies treat what your stuff, Id hate for this to get damaged on its way to you even if it would be insured. 2. it is quite heavy and delivery would cost you a bomb. I would prefer you to pick this up from my place (Barking, East London/Essex) so you can test it out before you take it home or we can negotiate a delivery fee for me to take it to you within 50 miles of IG110LH. Please note this lot is for the Head and Pedal only, not the cab. If you have any questions, please ask. |

Sorry mate this guy is the real deal...getting no communication before a bid is made on something like this always rings alarm bells. I really need to pull my finger out and find a replacement. |
