Useful Website For Choosing A Guitar!

A few days ago, I received an email about a new guitar website that helps you choose a new guitar! I found it quite useful and I thought members here would benefit from such a site since we seem to get a lot of "Which Guitar Should I Buy, I only have £100!" type questions.

At Guitar123, you can search through their database of guitar brands, then when you have found the guitar you want (or if you already knew), Guitar123 will tell you the best price to buy it for online! Pretty good idea I think and I was so impressed with it that I am making this topic a sticky for everyone to see!

Hi David. Yes you are absolutely right, guitar123 is an affiliate site. Any income basically pays for the cost of the hosting, and keeping the site updated.

I would like to work closer with electricguitarforums, as we have a growing number of visitors, both from google adwords, and natural search, who would benefit from a great forum to learn more about guitars and speak to like minded people.

One thing we can do is link to threads about specific guitars from the relevant pages on guitar123. This helps our users by giving them opinions from the actual players of the guitars, and helps electricguitarforums by hopefully attracting new members.

Maybe the forum could have an equipment review section that we can link to?
Any ideas are welcome :)

an equipment review page isn't a bad idea provided that the reviews are genuine. so far i've found most user reviews to be kind of worthless as most are "wow i just bought this guitar etc and its great" not to many people will say their new purchase sucks. some do but i have to wonder about those as well. seems like some people flame brands they don't like.
and now for something completely different
