how bout a LINE 6 :P

the valveking or the tube version of the vypyr would work. not sure how loud either gets though. (also can't decide whether you're breaking our balls with this post or not ^o) )
and now for something completely different

Yeah I did, a lot of buttons though :ermm: ,

This is just going to be a backup "just in case" I'm look at around $450-ish to $500

And i don't want the same amp twice, I like it an all, I juat can't buy the same amp twice. I'm just weird like that ;)

peavey valveking is like $400 for the 1x12 model. i was playing one yesterday but ended up going with the crate i got (more of a money issue than sound). do you have anywhere in your area that deals with alot of used amps? i know thats one of the bad sides of guitar center they just don't have much used stuff (but its usually fairly cheap when they do.) mine had an old peavey heritage 2x12 that was real cheap but it only has tubes in the power section.

online is tough when it comes to guitars and amps. personally i just can't see myself buying either if i can't try them out first but thats me. how bout craigslist i've seen a few decent deals in my area and figure there has to be desperate people everywhere (although some of the people on there seem to be on drugs for what they think they can get).

How about a Vox Valvetronix???

I played one today, and they are niice amps. Got some real heavy gain on there, and a perfect solo tone.
