Newbie Posts: 3 Group: Members Member #8,850 Joined: September 22, 2008	Hello there everyone, I'm new here (obviously). I've never played a Guitar before. I'm hoping to get a guitar and amp next month when I get paid. I'm 17 years old from the UK. I live with my parents. For a starter Guitar, I was told that you should not spend under £70. Would someone recommend a good guitar for a beginner. I don't want to spend any more than £130 on a one. (with a free amp if possible).

Newbie Posts: 4 Group: Members Member #8,851 Joined: September 22, 2008	easiest options are usually the strat packs if ya just starting. Either that or look up yamahas, squires, anything comercial. E-bays always good as well ^^ Good luck starting up your new instrument, if you need any help or advice im sure people like my self will be willing to help ^^ Ali

I'm more of a visual learner so what do you recommend for me to learn the guitar. I'd prefer not to take lessons and I wish to avoid this. (I dislike taking lessons for anything) Thanks!
