Hey guys, I've already made a few posts here so I thought I'd get around to introducing myself. I'm pretty new to guitar, I've been playing for about 9 months but I've been playing bass for about 2-3 years now (fingers). I play everyday and I love to play heavy stuff like Lamb of God, Meshuggah or Job for a Cowboy. I own a custom 7 string guitar made by some guys called H&S and a 6 string Spongebob Squarepants guitar (it's yellow with Spongebobs all over it). I don't really like to idolize people but some players that inspire me are Mikael Akerfeldt, Paul Gilbert (strictly racer X stuff) and Fredrik Thordendal (it's different with Fredrik though because I think I would never be able to play like him ever). I want to develop my own style of playing that would sound like a fusion of Japanese traditional koto music and metal style solos, I'll probably post some recordings for you guys soon. |
